Installing an upgrade version without original.

The answer to my question is probably that I am out of
luck, but here goes.

I've been using FrontPage for a long time, and have
purchased several upgrade versions - so many in fact that
I no longer have the original version's CD's.

I've bought a new computer, and cannot install the
upgrade version for frontPage 2002. FrontPage is still
installed on the old computer, and it is networked, but
the installation program does not provide any way to look
on a networked computer to verify that Frontpage is
installed.

Is there any way around this?

Try inserting the FP2000 Upgrade CD when prompted for a qualifying product,
etc. and then point the dialog to the CD Drive.

I have had luck with other program upgrades in the past by
moving the old program's base directory over to a new
computer. The old program wont open of course but it fools
the new upgrade installer.

Good luck.
