Hello. We are using Office 2003. We also have a 3rd party application that
utilizes macros which integrate with Word. However, when the macros are
started, users receive the security warning popup. Security is set to high
and must stay that way. We are deploying an upgrade to the 3rd party
application next week, which will install new macros. So we purchased a
code-signing certificate for our organization to prevent the popup. I have
digitally signed the new macros and can use SMS to deploy them to our users
with the package.
My question is:
How can I install the certificate as trusted on workstations using the
command-line? I lookoed at CERTMGR.EXE but that seems to be for SSL certs
and not code-signing certs. I need to figure out a way to deploy a
code-signing cert for Word macros via the command-line (without user
intervention) so that the macros run without the security popup.
Thanks in advance for any assistance,
