Installing Cumulative Updates

Hi All,

i'm using MOSS 2007, PS 2007 & SQL Server 2005
is it okay, if i directly install CU December without installing previous CU?
before installing CU, what should i do? should i do back up first or.....

It's recommended that you install SP1 first, but then you can install the Dec
CU without installing any of the other updates. Ensure you update the
clients at the same time.

If you have a test environment, perform the upgrade on that first. Do some
UAT and document the process. Once you have sign off, upgrade the production
environment making sure to perform a full farm backup first.
