Installing files and wanting to reboot

I am upgrading all our computers to Groove 2007 and I am still getting the
system wanting to install files and then reboot. This happens when users
start working with Outlook 2003.

We have not installed Office 2007 this has been a corporate decision. Groove
has been marketed as a stand alone. This was the same problem I had with the
beta, I would have thought it would have been fixed. Is there anyone who can
assist. I got detalis about uninstalling and cleaning out the register but
even that does not work on a couple of the computers. Yet other machine are
fine.

What is causing this proble??? how do I sort it out?? this is not winning
any friends at the moment and this site which potentially will be about 300
users will disappear if I don't come up with some answers.

Please Help

Very Frustrated Groove Administrator. :(

This issue is happening with machine which have been cleanly installed. Do
you have any other suggestions? Is there anyway of finding out what Groove
is attempting to do? what files is it updating and what sort of environment
it needs?

I find that everything works fine, even when I open Outlook but it is when I
go to send/receive that it triggers the groove application to install these
files and then wanting to reboot the system. What is outlook doing when the
send/receive button is pressed to trigger this action?

This is becoming an issue to the extent that an adequet solution does not
get found the company will stop the deployment and use of this tool. It a
real pity when it has been such a good tool.

Please, anyone with ideas would be greatly appreciated.
