Installing frontpage 2000

I have front page 2000 and am trying to load onto my xp machine --
When it gets about half-way through installation - message comes on
that states
Microsoft Server Extensions

Unable to Access donfiguration for Microsoft Personal Web Server

Then I must exit. When I hit finish it states that FP has been
installed -

When I try to create new pages - it will not allow me to save them
when I am connected to the server.

I appreciate any help.

Do a custom install without the Personal Web Server, which is not supported
on XP.

Hello Tom:

Thank you for your reply - I am trying to do a custom install and I
don't see anything which allows me to select or desect personal web
service - can you explain to me where to find it - thanks Nick
