Installing included clipart

Carl.

Almost every time I try to insert clipart, I have to put in my Office CD
(even though a word search "finds" the pictures). How do I install it all
on my computer? I tried manually copying it, but it wants me to select the
exact folder to find it. Where should I put these files so Word will find
it when it finds the preview picture with its clipart search.

Thanks, this worked for Office 2002 just fine. The only difference was
obvious enough. Instead of the entry "disk 2" in the add/remove list, it
was labled "media content" (same as on the second disk disk I think).

Heh heh. I have been grumbling over this for years, but I was too lazy to
actually fix it. :)

Years??? Holy moly. Glad I could help. Personally, I install
EVERYTHING to "run from computer" so I won't have to remember where I
stashed the CD.

I probably did not understand the options when I installed it. I would have
thought I selected some kind of "install everything" option, but I guess I
missed it.

It's not an obvious choice, but you can still do it if you want to.
Click on Start | Control | Add/Remove Programs | Microsoft Office |
Change | Add/Remove Features. Immediately to the left of the
first-level item Microsoft Office is a little downward-pointing black
triangle. If you click on it, one of the choices on the drop-down menu
is "Run all from computer".

I think the clipart is all I ever need. I have been using it a lot more
since I discovered the whole "edit picture" option.
