Installing Live Serv 2003 in a W2k domain

I have a windows 2k3 Member server in a windows 2k domain. I have the SQL 2k server installed and MSMQ installed as well. When I try to install LIVE comm 2k3 Server. It states that I haven't updated the Schema. I've read the documentation "Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2003 Deployment Guide" and it states that updating the schema is supposed to be automatic but when I try to install, I get error messages telling me to update the schema. When I run the commands to update the schema manually(drive letter:\setup\i386\rtcsrv.msi PREP=ENTERPRISE [/L*V drive letter:\setup_enterprise.log]), it states its done but when I verify in LDP, it doesn't show the schema information. What am I doing wrong?

Christopher,

I was told that in spite of the documentation, you'll need to use ADSI
instead of LDP to view the schema extensions. When you ran the rtcsrv.msi
commands, did you get error messages?

PREP=ENTERPRISE refers to updating the enterprise level settings for the
forest. PREP=SCHEMA is the action which will update the schema.
Do you get any errors when you run PREP=ENTERPRISE? IF not, you should be
able to verify this per deployment document using adsiedit.
