Installing Microsoft Office Document Imaging 2003 Software

J

Johnson

Hi,

Currently I wrote a VB application to use the MODI 11.0 type library to
print out image files. I understand we need to install Microsoft Office
Document Imaging 2003 Software in order for us to use the MODI 11.0 type
library right?

Currently we don't have license for Office 2003 as I have only Office 2000
license. Can I install Microsoft Office Document Imaging 2003 Software from
the Office 2003 Pro Edition installation disk without having a license to it?
All I need is just this software in order for my vb application to print
image files using the MODI type library file. I cant using Kodak Imaging
Control because I am using Windows Server 2003 Operating System.

Kindly advise me asap pls.

THank you and regards

Johnson

Hi Johnson,

The MS Office 2003 Document Imaging app requires an
Office 2003 license and relies on the core files
of Office 2003 to some extent.

You'd need to contact Microsoft licensing or Microsoft
Development to see if they make the library available
separately for developer use.
