Hi Cioccolato,
If you're referring to a 'thumb drive' that uses a USB connection to your Tablet PC, if (a) the thumbdrive has a large enough
capacity to hold a copy of the Office 2003 CD and (b) the thumbdrive is seen by Windows on your Tablet PC as a regular disk drive,
then you should be able to install from that thumbdrive after copying the Office 2003 CD onto it. However, since the MS Installer
often looks for the original drive used to install Office you may want to first recopy the Office CD from the thumbdrive onto the
Tablet PC hard drive and then install from there rather than carry the thumbdrive with you all the time.
=========I recently bought a Tablet PC that does not have a cd drive... I also
bought Microsoft office 2003. I would like to know how I can install
office on my tablet pc through a USB. is it possible? how can i install
office if i cant do it through a USB?
please help me <<
