Installing MS Access XP forms wizard

H

Hill Mitchell

I am installing MS ACcess XP (2002) on an XP Professional
operating system. When I try to start the forms wizard,
the response is that 'the wizard is not included in my
installation or is disabled'. I have verified that Access
2002 sees nothing disabled when I look at the Help/About
Access/Disabled location. I have uninstalled and
completely reinstalled MS Office XP Professional, which
includes MS Access 2002, and the error persists. Is there
a specific part of the MS Office XP Professional
installer that I need to pay attention to?

If you did a default installation, you might want to put in your CD
again and Modify installation, then select "additional wizards" from the
tree of choices that becomes available in a custom install. I am not
positive the wizard you need is there but its worth a try.

Thanks for the input, but it didn't help. I did a custom
install of Office XP (2002), selected 'additional
wizards' for MS Access, and still the required wizard is
not available. I am working from a client's spoken
request and the word of his office co-workers that this
wizard is part of the installation package and that the
Access version is Access XP. I also have installed Access
2000, the required database/form wizard isn't there
either. THe client indicates that no custom wizard for
this form has been offered to him or his co-workers.

I am sorry to say that I have no idea what to do next. You may want to re-post.
