Installing MS Frontpage 2003

I have a bit of information for anyone that has been having trouble
installing Frontpage 2003. I run Office XP and purchased Frontpage to assist
me in working on my office's website. When trying to install, I continually
received an error msg that one .cab file or another was corrupt and could not
be copied. I called Tech Support and they couldn't figure out what was going
on. My original disc was replaced, but the same error's occurred. So the
software went into the dream install mode. This weekend, I had to replace my
motherboard for various reasons and ended up having to reinstall the OS, Win
XP Pro, fresh. After installing all of the 'recommended' security updates,
then installing Office, I got a wild hair and decided to try installing
Frontpage again. Amazingly enough, it went through without a hitch. Since
deleting your primary partition and reformatting, then reinstalling, isn't
the best way I'd like to spend MY time, I know there has to be a better way
to work out what is causing this issue, as I know from reading several posts
on Frontpage newsgroups that this is a prevalent issue. Also, a friend of
mine is having exactly the same issue when trying to install Office 2003 Pro.
My issue has been resolved, so responding may not be in the best interest of
anyone at MS, but there are more than likely going to be a LOT more problems
cropping up in the future if this issue isn't resolved.
