Installing my upgrade copy of FP 2002 on new computer

B

Bob

My old computer crashed. I have my official copy of FP 2002 and have the key.
But because I have an upgrade it won't install. How do I get around this
without paying $49 or more?

Thanks for the help

You will need to find/buy the CD from a previous version of FrontPage.
This does not need to be installed, but will have to be inserted in the
drive.

Thanks, here is my situation: I have one drive on m y new computer and I have
a legit copy of FP 2000 but it's also an upgrade and I can't remember what it
upgraded from!

Can you help some more?

Thanks,

Bob

Just get a full version of FP 2000 or prior. It doesn't matter what you
upgraded from.

FP2000 will have been upgraded from FP98, FP97 or FP95.
As Tom said, find any version of FrontPage, except another FP2000
upgrade. If you get a FP2002 or 2003 upgrade CD your existing FP2000
will be the qualifying disc.

It will upgrade from any previous version of FP.
