installing office 2000 after removing office XP

after removing office xp I want to reinstall office 2000
premium. no error messages during installation. when
trying to startup access: error message: can't find
language dll; when trying to startup word, excel: nothing
happens; when trying to startup outlook: error message
that the program is not good installed.

how can I reinstall office 2000 with a working version ?
