installing office 2000 cannot update

While installing Microsoft Office 2000, the installation is prematurely ended
because of an error. "Error 1933". The Windows Installer Service cannot
update one or more protected Windows files. I would appreciate any help
concerning this problem, thanking you in advance. Jean
