installing office 2000 on laptop

I have office 2000 installed on my desktop. I upgraded
from office 95 (which I no longer have the disk for.)
I'd like to install office on my laptop, but obviously
can't without the 95 disk. Is there a way I can get this
done... I guess I should also ask if its legal for me to
do so, assuming I can?
Thank you in advance.

1. It is legal to install to one desktop and one portable, used by the same
person but not simultaneously.

2. If you had registered the product, you can contact Microsoft about
obtaining a key to install it without the qualifying media.

Hope this helps.

I called Microsoft at 425-635-7056 and was told by Manda that the only way
I can install Office 2000 upgrade version is by purchasing a previous
version, which is available by them. Are you sure that it is possible to
obtain a key to install the software without a qualifying product?
