Installing Office 2000 on XP Home OS

I have been trying to install Microsoft Office 2000 (designed for
Windows NT/98) on my XP Home OS. Each time, I get about halfway
through, then the following message pops up: "Error 1305. Error reading
from file: C:\windows\fonts\HATTEN.TTF. Verify that the file exists and
that you can access it." I have downloaded the font from the web to
make sure it was in the folder. Still no luck. Any ideas?

I kept getting an install error once on a programme, to cure th
problem I inserted the disc in the DVD drive instead of the CD write
and it cured it, wasn't Office though, never had any problems wit
Office 2000 which I use

No blemishes or marks on the disc by any chance..
