That's it? Should I do this before or after I install 2000?
The reason I asked is because of this.
I have a HP XP media center computer that's about 18 months old. I
recently
had to do a system restore which installed all the software originally on
the
computer. One of which was office 2003. This was nothing more than a trial
version. I removed it. I installed my office 2000 SR-1 premium. Now, when
I
open word or excel, I get a box telling me to "please wait while windows
configures microsoft office 2000 SR-1 premimum." About 3 seconds later it
closes and word opens. The same happens when I open Excel.
I followed all of the instructions in kbid #265194 and they did not fix
the
problem. I'd like to not have the same problems again.
