Installing Office 2000, Small Business

Jack

Had lost my original CDs and ordered replacement from MS
on the phone on 8-26-03. Received 3 CDs, 2 entitled MS
Office 2000 SR-1 Disc 1 and Disc 2, and one entitled MS
Office Service Pack 2. I installed disc 1 and it loaded
properly but never did ask for disc 2. I loaded it anyway
without a problem. Should I have only loaded one of the
two discs or both? Have not loaded the Service Pack 2
disc yet. No instructions with the discs when I got them
in the mail from you. Please advise the proper way to
install.

Thank You

NOTE: This is coming to you from AOL with my AOL
address. Am discontinueing AOL today. If your response
does not go through on AOL...send to new

Hi Jack,

MS Office 2000 CD#1 and CD#2 have separate setup
programs for the contents of each CD.

.Thanks Bob for your response. So, I did the right thing
by installing disc 1 and disc 2. How about the third disc
entitiled MS Office Service Pack 2?

Install that one as well as any subsequent fixes will require the next SPs.
Also, be sure to visit Office Update to get the latest security fixes for
Office - they are critical patches.
