Installing Office 2003 and keeping Office 97 just in case.

J

Jack Gillis

I am about to install Office 2003 Professional and would like to keep
using my Access and Exel 97 files under Office 97 until I'm sure I've
tweaked 2003 to my liking and made sure the 97 files will run fine under
2003 once they have been converted or processed by 2003.

I didn't install Outlook 97 so that shouldn't be an issue but will
probably use it under 2003.

I would really welcome a strategy to do the 2003 installation while
retaining the 97 capability for I can't afford to mess up my 97 stuff
until I'm satisfied with 2003.

Thank you very much.

You may keep Office 97 on your system (Except for Outlook, which your
computer may only have one version installed at a time)

Thank you.

Then, should I install 2003 in its own, separate and new directory?

It will automatically install in its own directory.
