You will be given the option to uninstall the Office setup files during installation to save space. Would be best to leave them. Office needs these files for updates in the future.
If there are applications from your Office 2000 suite not included on 2003, leave 2000 on your system.
Back up all pertinent files before any upgrade.
Right now we are facing many problems with bugs in Excel
2003 which is part of Office 2003. If you are a power user
of Excel 2000, wait a while to get rid of it. The 2003
version will bring you lots of headaches!
