installing Office 2003 professinal edition

when installing, I got a message saying "waiting to be cached for local
installing file from cabinet..." and while installing O01561417.CAB file, it
didn't proceed the installing futher.
I am using window 2000.
what should I do?

Hi James
This could be an issue with the media. but try these two steps and see if it
works.
1)delete the following directory if present (This is a hidden directory so
you might need to unhide it and then search for it) c:\MSOCACHE
2)Run the Office setup from the command line <CD Drive>:\setup
LOCALCACHEDRIVE=C

If this does not help you can call the Microsoft Order Desk on (800)
360-7561 if the product you have is a retail version.
