Installing Office 2003 Student Teacher edition

My wife is returning to grad school and I need to purchase and install
Office 2003 Student Teacher edition. My computer already has Microsoft
Word 2002 installed by the manufacturer of the computer. Does anyone
know if I need to un-install Word 2002 before attempting to install the
STE version of Office 2003?

Hi Adman,

You can elect to have Office 2003 remove an
older version for you during installation.
As with any upgrade or software install backup
your files before proceeding.

product.
