Installing Office 2004

I have read some of the messages regarding this, so I want to be sure
of what I am doing before I install. The way I understand, Office 2004
test drive must be removed before the full Office 2004 in installed.
Does this also include any previous version of Office?

I have recently begun supporting Macs, and do not want to mess anything
up on user machines.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Test Drive absolutely has to be uninstalled.

Previous versions don't need to be uninstalled (I run Office 98/2001/v.X
and 2004 on the same test account with no problems), but, if your users
aren't going to be using them, might as well be removed at the same time.

Installation problems in OSX are generally minimized if you reset disk
permissions after installation (using the Disk Utility in the
Applications:Utilities folder, or another utility program like TechTool
or Cocktail).

Thank you JE, that should help. I am starting the new installs next
week, and only 1 user has office 2004 installed. What a great way to be
introduced to Macs.
