Installing Office 2007 and keep getting earlier fersion error

I have tried the uninstall utility in Windows XP for a trial version of
Office 2003. The install of Office 2007 keeps telling me the 2003 version is
still there.

How long has it been since you installed Office 2003 "Trial Version"?
Also please confirm that YOU REALLY MEAN OFFICE 2003 and not Office
2007. These are two different products doing almost identical things
like writing a letter to Peter Foldes wife, sister and mother if they
are still working as professional escorts. They specialised in quick
bonk for busy people.

You could also try this:

Insert your Microsoft Office 2003
<http://www.astahost.com/info.php/uninstall-completely-office-2003_t16215.html#>
CD. Go to Start->Run and type in D:\setup.exe /x pro11n.msi /qb and hit
OK. Replace D: with the letter of your CD drive. See if that will
uninstall the Office software.

If that fails then try these steps::

1. Insert the first disk of your Office CD set in the CD-ROM drive.

2. From the Start menu or desktop, click or double-click Computer or
My Computer.

3. Right-click the icon for your CD-ROM drive, and then click Open.

4. Double-click Files, and then double-click Pfiles.

5. Double-click Msoffice. Then double-click Office11 (Office 2003) or
Office10 (Office XP).

6. Double-click Offcln.exe.

Hope this helps.
