Installing Office 2007 Pro over Office XP (OEM)

Amities

I have a few questions about installing Office 2007 Pro on my XP desktop
computer which currently has Office XP Small Business:

1. Do I need to uninstall all of Office XP first or only Outlook?
2. Can the Outlook.pst file be imported properly in 2007 from XP?
3. If there is a problem, can I revert to Office XP (the disks for
installation came with the Dell) without difficulty?
4. In the case of uninstalling, are there any potentially problematic files
which are left behind?
5. Do I need to disable my anti-spyware & anti-virus programs prior to
install?

Thanks.

1. If you want to use Outlook 2007, then I would suggest to remove
Outlook XP first. As for the rest of Office XP, that is really up to
you. As you are probably aware, 2007 comes with a radically different
user interface, so you might want to keep an Office with a familiar user
interface (your current XP) on your computer...
2. No need to import. Outlook 2007 should pick up the settings and files
from Outlook XP.
3. Yes.
4. Problematic? No.
5. That would be advisable.
