Installing Office 2007 Student edition

I would like to install Office 2007 Student edition on my desktop running
XP SP3. Already installed is Word 2002 and Microsoft Works Suite 2004. Do I
have to delete both before installing Office 2007? Will all my Word 2002
and Works 2004 documents be available after the install?

Also running Outlook Express, I have heard that I will lose the Spell Check
function once I install Office 2007.

Any help appreciated.
