Installing Office 2007

Hi

I am using XP Home Edition with SP2 and wish to install Office 2007.

I already have Works 7 with Word 2002 installed and would like to keep these
for reasons of comaptability with my partner's laptop.

Am I likely to have any problems in having both on the PC or will I need to
uninstall all or part of Works 7/Word 2002?

If you havent purchased Office 2007 allready, you qualify for an upgrade
edition
Since Word 2007 can open and save docs in the old format, there should be no
problems.
As for Works its only Works Spreadsheets that may give problems.

Hi

This is not really what I was asking. I need to know whether installing
Office 2007 as well as leaving Works 7 installed might cause any conflicts or
problems.

I would remove my Word 2002 and use the new Word 2007 but all the other
applications contained in Works 7 are needed to allow me to share many files
etc with my partner. The only duplicated applications would be the
Spreadsheet and the Database parts of Works 7 and from past experience I
believe the files for these are not compatible with Access or Excel.

Can anyone help me on this question?
