Installing Office 97 with XP system

I recently had to re-install XP due to a brain cramp...I
have learned an important lesson. However, when I first
purchased my computer with XP loaded, I was able to
install my personal copy of Office 97. Now I'm trying to
re-install it. It works just fine until I go to use
Outlook Express and I get the message that I must first
install Microsoft Office (which I have already installed).

I can't afford to buy new software and would like to use
what I already have...can anyone help me? I'm desperate.

Your mail editor might not be selected and Outlook Express might be looking
for a newer version of Office (WORD). Set the mail editor to HTML.

Right click on IE got to Properties goto Programs and select your choice.
