Installing Office 97

For the past few years I have been using Windows 95 and I
installed Office 97 upgrade a while ago.

Now I have a new PC with Windows XP and cannot instal the
Office 97 upgrade. Can you help?

I have tried to instal Microsoft Works 3 but the CD rom
does not register that a disk is in the CD Rom, so I
cannot input a previous version for the Office 97 upgrade
to instal from.

Hi John,

You do not need to installt the upgrade qualifier
product, but do need the MS CD for that product
during the installation of Office 97. The setup
program will ask for the qualifying product CD/diskette
during setup.
