Installing Office Developer XP without XP :-)

Hello together,

I`m working with the Office Developer XP to develop my com add-ins. This
works fine with 2003 too.

To use the XP-Version with 2003 I first installed Office XP, then Developer
Office XP and then Office 2003 over them.

Now I want to install Office System 2007 and before that I want to uninstall
the Office 2003 (it`s recommended or?).

To install Office Developer XP after 2007 it is necessary to know how the
setup check if the right version is installed.

Does anybody know how the setup checks that Office XP is installed?

I know that this is not the best way but I want to try it. My alternative is
to install Visual Studio and VB. This would be a problem because I have no
time right now to learn the development with this.

Any help and tipps would be very welcome.

Thanks
Peter

Today I have had time to try something out. It works after I
uninstalled Office 2003 and installed Office 2007. The developer
Office is still avaiable and seems to work.
