Installing Office Enterprise over Home and Student version

I

Ian R

Good Evening!

I tried to install Office Enterprise on my computer today but it apparently
did not install entirely. I had Office Home and Student previously
installed, and hoped that when I installed Enterprise it would wipe the Home
and Student version off. It appears that isnt what happened - it appears
that my Home and Student versions of Word, Powerpoint and Excel are still
there, but the additional programs in the Enterprise version installed
alright.

So, what should I do now? Uninstall Office 2007 completely then reinstall
the Enterprise suite only? The Home and Student version was a 3 license
pack... how do I recover the license after the uninstall so I can install it
on another machine?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Ian

To remove the non-commercial message for the Home & Student programs you
will need to uninstall all Office 2007 program suites and then install
Enterprise.

The license is not 3 installs only for Home and Student but three concurrent
installs (3 computers at a time, in the same household and for
non-commercial purposes.) There is no need to "recover" the license. Just
install and if it fails online activation you will be given a telephone
number to call to proceed with phone activation. Relatively painless.

Enterprise needs to be installed as a stand alone version of Office. You now will
need to remove all instances of Office from your computer along with the Activation
Wizard and then install Enterprise.
You will have to call and activate Enterprise and you will need all the required
documentation along with from who you purchased it under the Home Use Program

You will find the phone number for Enterprise Help and Activation below

Here you will find the Phone numbers and email addresses as to where and whom to
contact about Office Enterprise and your issue.

Uninstalling "recovers" the license. If you have trouble activating it on a
future computer because it claims you've exceeded the #, then use the
telephone method of activation.

I would remove all Office applications using the Control Panel (assuming you
have the installation media to re-install), and re-install the one you want.
That might resolve the conflicts.
