Installing Office on additional computer

I've just bought a new notebook for my wife for Christmas and want to install
Office on it. I've already got it installed on my PC and my license I
believe allows me to install it on this second machine.

The notebook does not have a disc drive so I cannot use my installation
discs. The notebook came with a 60-day free trial which I have not activated.

How do i go about it? Can I do it online from the Microsoft website?

Happy Christmas from Wales to you all.

Do you have a wireless network at home? You can copy the CD to a folder on
another machine on the network, then set that folder as Shared -- or you
could simply set the CD drive as a Shared drive -- then install over the
network.

You can use an external USB drive to store a copy of the CD, then install
from there. You can buy an external CD drive that runs over the USB forts,
and install from there.

I've lost count, but I think I'm up to five different ways of getting this
done.

First of all what version of Office are we talking about here before we continue.
