Installing Office PE 2003 on Vista Mechine

Recently Purchased New HP w/ Vista. Attempted to install Office Profession
2003 Upgrade (which I purchased retail) Will not boot since somputer does
not have Windows 97, 2000 or XP . I there a work around on this issue

First, lets get some definitions straight. The program will not start
instead of boot which is what a computer does when it first starts up. Also
you don't have Office 97, 2000 or XP instead of Windows...

Unless you have a qualifying product that you can show the installation
program for Office 2003 you do not have any workaround.

The qualifying product must be shown to the install program or it won't
install and you get the message you have been getting when attempting the
install.

Your only option would be to purchase an earlier version which is a
qualifier for the software. To be "legal" you should ensure that the copy
of the software you purchase is actually a legal version and not a pirated
version.
