Installing Office97 on WindowsXPPro

I am having trouble installing my original copy of
Office97 onto my new computer which has WindowsXPPro on
it.
I'm not sure why Nick can't install his copy on
Windows2000 as thats what my old computer was running and
Office97 ran no worries.
