Installing OfficeXP

I registered my office suite on my home computer a few
months back. My son and daughter have their own computers
now, and I would like to install the suite on there
computers. I got the software from my campus library at a
student discount. Is it possible to do this?

No it isn't. I assume you're talking about an Academic licence, rather than
the Students and Teachers Edition which you can walk into just about any
software store and pick up off the shelf.

The Academic has the same licensing rules as the retail version - that is
*one* desktop and *one* portable (e.g laptop or tablet PC). If all systems
are desktops (or, equally, laptops) then you are required to purchase a
licence for each system you wish to install it on.

However, the Students and Teachers Edition 2003 (*NOT* the Academic licence,
that's still one desktop and a portable, AFAIK) can be installed on *three*
systems, the combination of which is irrelevant.

By the way, I'm sure you meant to say you /activated/ it, not registered.
Activation is the compulsory process by which you inform Microsoft that you
have a legal licence. Registration is the - completely voluntary - process
by which you log personal details with them.
