installing on windows 2000

I was trying to install Office 2000 Professional on
machines with windows 2000. For a handful of them I get
the following error(or something close to it)

cannot find file C:\winnt\system32\MSCOMCTL.OCX

i tried replacing this file from another computer but then
it gave the same error for

ISFLEX3.OCX
and then again looking for a font file. This happened on
at least 3 machines with windows 2000 just installed on it
and a windows update done.
