Installing One Note on two computers?

Can I install One Note on two computers? It won't let me activate my 2nd
computer (laptop). It keeps asking me to activate.

Hi,

I don't pretend to be an expert on licensing conditions but my
understanding is that it is ok to install OneNote on a desktop and a
laptop belonging to one person. (I can't tell you for certain that
this works since I have OneNote currently installed on only one
machine, personally.)

I assume that you activated successfully from the desktop?

What happens when you attempt to activate from the laptop?

From OneNote's EULA - we all read those, right? ;)

1.1 Installation and use. You may:

(a) install and use a copy of the Software on one personal computer or
other device; and

(b) install an additional copy of the Software on a second, portable
device for the exclusive use of the primary user of the first copy of
the Software.
