Installing OneNote Mobile under Vista

When I try to Install OneNote Mobile to my Windows Mobile 6.1 device, the
install key is inactive. Why?

No idea.
It works pretty well for me with my PDA running under WM 5.x.

Just for understanding your situation:
On which stage of installing OneNote Mobile does an "install key" come
into the game??
Never saw this with Vista and WM 5.x.

In fact it is not a "key" it is the "install button" that is gray indicating, it can't be pressed. Sorry for the confusion.

An other sympthom is, that in Wondows Mobile-Center 6.1 in the setup of synchronization, OneNote is listed, but I can't tick it of to synchronize.

You seem to have install ON Mobile already.
This would also explain why the install button is disabled.

Try to install ON on you mobile device and then run install from the PC
again.
