Installing OneNote Mobile

I'm using Vista Business and OneNote 2007 in DK version. I have installed all
Windows paches and updates.

Now I have invested in a HTC 7500 Advantage with Windows Mobile 6
Professional also DK version.

Now I want to install OneNote Mobile 2007 DK on my HTC.

Going into OneNote options, OneNote Mobile the Install OneNote Mobile...
button is gray and therefore not active.

Scanning the HTC shows no sign of OneNote Mobile so it is not installed
already.

In Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 DK the synchronization tickbox for
OneNote is there, but also here inactive.

All in all - I can't find a way to activate OneNote Mobile on my new HTC.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to activate the insall button or get the
installation to go ahead in some other way?

You must have the device connected and active sync running. At this time the
option should be available.

Can you install from OneNote?
Connect phone and ensure it can synch (test with calendar or files)

The open OneNote
Menu: Tools-Options
Category: OneNote Mobile
Click Install OneNote Mobile...

Would you confirm whether synching is operational for calendar or contacts?
It would be good to narrow this to either an ActiveSync problem or a OneNote
only problem.

It seems that the DK version of Onenote 2007, would not let you Install/Sync.
OneNote on your Smartphone. Is there anybody who can confirm this?

What do you mean by "DK" version??
Localized version for Denmark?

I do not *know* it, but seriously doubt this kind of theory.
ON Mobile works fine on under my German versions of Vista and Office and
I simply have no idea, why a Danish version should behave differently.

I'd suggest to all MS support for Denmark and ask them about any
localization isses.

I will try to ask MS support
Somtimes it is more interesting to figure problems out by one self or search
forums for an solution, as it also might be a conflict between installed
programs

I haven`t got the time to contact MS support today, have to wait until monday.
The problem might be that there is no onenotemobile.cab file in the Danish
version of Onenote 2007. If I just could find the English version of the
one...cab file , it should be possible to install and run/sync. OneNote
mobil. At least I hope this will solve the problem

Yes, I am runing a Danish version of Windows Mobile. I am nealy 99 % sure
that it is the missing cab file, and it seems that it is missing in other
(language) versions to. So if I/you don`t have the cab file it will not
install on your device, that`s why the install button is grey, and not active
(clickable)
As I boought Onenote to use it with my device, I am sure I will find a way
to fix this "little!" problem
