Installing OneNote on a second PC

P

Peter Maddern

I'd like to install OneNote on a second computer (my laptop) at home.
But my laptop isn't connected to the internet yet. Is it correct that I can
install OneNote on a 2nd PC but it needs to be activated via the web?

Also, what files do I need to copy over from the first PC to my laptop to
have all my notebook file on my laptop? Thanks

If it's the full version (i.e. not the trial) you can activate via phone
if the computer does not have Internet access.

The entire contents of your "My Notebook" folder (found under your "My
Documents" by default) can be copied inder the "My Documents" folder of
your profile on the laptop and that will move over all of your sections
and pages.

Remember that once copied to the laptop, there are two copies of these
notes, and they will not be kept in sync.
