We are currently running Office 2003 on xp and vista desktops. I am looking
for a solution to be able to install Outlook 2007 leaving the remaining
Office 2003 applications in place. The plan is to upgrade the remaining
Office 2007 applications at a later date.
I have created two msp files using setup.exe /admin. One msp installs
Outlook only and the other is to install the remaining applications. However
after installing Outlook setup.exe /adminfile <outlook.msp> my attempt to
install the remaining apps with setup.exe /adminfile <alltherest.msp> it
fails stating that the adminfile cannot be used again.
Is there a way to install Outlook before the remaining 2007 office apps.
