installing outlook-microsoft exchange server

I have recently installed office including outlook. I
tried to enter outlook and am told that I need to connect
to the Microsoft Exchange Server. I don't have a
Microsoft Exchange Server - it is just one computer in an
office. does anyone know how to get rid of the
requirement to connect to the Microsoft Exchange Server
so I can start using outlook?

Remove the account from the profile; Control Panel-> Mail
