Installing over Office 2000

Just purchased Office 2000 Developer. Already have Office 2000 Professional
installed on computer. Office 2000 Developer comes with Office 2000 Premium.

Instructions read like this:

According to manual, the order of installation is to be:

1. Install Office 2000 Premium
2. Install Office 2000 Developer
3. Install MSDN Library
4. Install Microsoft Visual Sourcesafe

Do I need to re-install over a perfectly good installation or just ignore
step 1. Installed version has all updates, etc.
