Installing over VPN WAN

I'm trying to install Access XP from the Office XP Pro CD via a WAN and VPN.
The machine I'm installing from has a mapped drive to the server with the CD
copied to a folder. I get through most of the setup options but then get a
message "error 2755. An internal error has occurred"...

I suspect it's because of the slowness of the connection in some way shape
or form.

Any thoughts?

Also, I'm wondering if there's a way just to copy the install files for
Access off the CD. Then I could upload them to the machine getting the
install. Otherwise, the whole Office installation is nearly 1GB.

Hum...don't know the answer.

However...you might want to know for future references that you can't run
ms-access "records" a vpn, as it too slow.

So, once you do get your install working..you might want to read the
