Installing PowerPoint on Windows 98

Diane

What version of PowerPoint should I consider purchasing
with a Windows 98 operating system? All I can find is
reference to upgrading to Windows XP, which I did more
than a year ago with nothing buy problems amongst all my
system programs. I'd like to stick with Windows 98, but
can't figure out what PowerPoint version, if any, is
compatible.
Any input will be appreciated!
Thanks,
Diane

Diane,

Powerpoint versions 95, 97, 2000 and 2002/XP will work with windows 98.

The only current retail version is 2002/XP....all older versions can perhaps
be found on auction sites like ebay.com

Diane- I am running Office XP (PPT 2002) on a Win98se machine and it works
very well. If you don't want to run Office XP, look around for Office 2000,
which also works well.
