Installing Project Server 2002 SP1 on a server running windows 200

I currently have MS Project Server 2002 installed on a windows 2003
environment. To do this install I needed to install ps1002.exe which is
referred in kb 319281 so Project server can run on the 2003 environment. If
I install SP1 for Project server, will I need to reinstall ps1002.exe again
for the service pack to run properly. All the kb's only refer to a windows
nt or windows 2000 environment. I am concerned that the service pack might
not work properly on a Windows 2003 environemt.

In my experience no. With that said, SP1 for Project Server 2002 corrects a
bunch of errors, but actually introduces quite a few new ones. If it's at
all possible, I strongly suggest that Project Server 2003 would be a wiser
upgrade path.

Thanks Gary for your suggestion and imput,

We are currently planning on migrating to 2003 in August, but for now I will
apply the patch.
