I'm having problems trying to install Microsoft Project
Server 2002. I have installed Windows 2000 Advanced
Server, and Microsoft SQL Server, and I'm in the middle of
installing Microsoft Project Server.
I'm at the point where it asks me to either create a new
database, or connect to an existing database. I use the
name of my database server that I created in Enterprise
Manager, and I use the SQL Authentication option with sa
as my login along with its corresponding password.
Doesn't let me in.
I went to check to see if SQL Server was configured for
Named Pipes and TCP/IP, and it was. Then I checked to see
the permissions on sa, and it wasn't set for Security
Administration and Database Creation. I tried to select
that, but SQL Server 2000 wouldn't let me. Any ideas on
what to do?
