Installing Project Server 2003 on a Domain Controller

Are there any known issues if installing Project Server on a server that is
also a Domain Controller?

I have read of problems with SharePoint Team Services but not seen anything
covering Windows SharePoint Services and Project Server 2003.

Hi Dominic,

There is nothing preventing you installing Project Server on a Domain
Controller. However according to Best Practices from Microsoft Security,
installing enterprise software, especially web servers (IIS) should not
be done on Domain Controllers.

Here's a link to Windows Server 2003 Security Guide
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/prodtech/windowsserver2003/w20
03hg/sgch00.mspx
OR

Also as a side note
The Installation Guide state that you cannot install the Project Server
Sample Data on a domain controller.

Cheers,
