Installing Project Server 2007 on VMWare in a 'Production' environ

Does anyone know if Project Server 2007 can be/should be deployed in a
virtual environment using VMWare, without losing performance, reliability
etc.. Does Microsoft support this? It looks like Microsoft supports Hyper-V
for MSPS 2007, but I haven't seen any reference of VMWare.

I saw this article that discourages deploying on Virtual servers, especially
for a production environment.

But this article is from Nov 2007. Things may
have changed since then.

Alok,
I have worked in several production environments that have used VMware
for MOPS 2007. We experienced no VMware related issues, but my
situation is just a single data point and there may be issues of which
I am unaware.

I don't recommend installing SQL on ESX, but Project Server works great!
