Installing Service Pack 2a

Sally

We are thinking of installing Service Pack 2a and have several questions.
First, do we need to install SP2 first? Second, is there a way to deny users
access during the period we are installing SP2a. Third, are there any
caveats or cautions that you would offer?

Best regards

SP2a contains all updates in SP1 and SP2. You can install it without
installing SP2 first.

If you wish to deny users access to Project Server during installation, I
would recommend you either install it on a weekend when no one will be using
the system, or if you need to install it on a work day, then issue a strong
warning that no one is to use the system during the specified hours. Hope
this helps.
